TAPE STARTS

Dr. Schwartz:  Audio interview #23, Thursday 27th March. Dr Schwartz, Interviewing patient 4344 dash 657. Patient has deemed that he has no official name, but has acted under the alias of 'Entrail' for some time now...

Entrail:  I wasn't the one who came up with that name, Doc
Guard:  Shaddap you.

Dr. Schwartz: ... For the interview, the patient has been restrained in a fully body harness with mouth guard, and the electromagnetic dampener field has been activated. With me is an asylum guard, assigned for my personal security. But I'm sure we won't have any incidents that would require his assistance, isn't that right?

Entrail:  Well, I don't know. I'm not in a mutilating mood right now. But I do feel slightly hungry.

Dr. Schwartz:  The patient has been committed to the Asylum due to his actions in public. Namely the mass murders, tortures of innocent Mobians and robotic individuals too. Also included on his charge list was the destruction of New South City two years ago. Attempts at destroying the patient have proven futile, so the authorities have decided it was best to capture and hold indefinitely. As per Asylum guidelines, this interview will be used as a basis to form some sort of a cure for the patient.

Entrail: Can you cure a personality? I know you can cure life very easily. One quick twist of the neck and BANG, life is cured. Ehehehaha...

Dr. Schwartz: What is this strange obsession with killing people that you have? I mean, it's obvious that you are one of Dr. Eggman's ro...

Entrail: Robotnik. Fucking hell, Eggman!? It wasn't so bad that it was just used as an insult, but he's taken the goddess-damned name onboard. I mean, I hate the guy, but still, use your real name, for fucksake.

Dr. Schwartz: Okay, fine. Dr. Robotnik. You are one of his creations, are you not?
Entrail: Well, initially yes. But, well... let's say I found a book on self modification.

Dr. Schwartz:  Right, well... I am curious. I've never seen a robot from your creator go on such a wild, unfettered killing spree. And not just a killing spree...

*Noise of papers being shuffled*

Dr. Schwartz:  Two Mobian teenagers were found strung up by their legs, hanging upside down as their torsos were sliced open, their internal organs left to fall from their corpses.

Entrail:  Oh, yeah. They were sweet, lovable... Screamed pretty good too...

Dr. Schwartz:  And as I said before, not just living beings. Other robots, shut down and, for want of a better word, eviscerated and placed in gruesome poses. So, I ask again, why are you killing in such a random, unprovoked way?

Entrail:  Oh, I wouldn't say COMPLETELY unprovoked. I mean, this entire planet is just crawling with parasitic lifeforms, be they artificial or otherwise. Every breath, every movement of their joints, every blink of their eyes. Imagine, Doc, hearing every single thing on the planet. Constantly. Day in, day out. It'd drive you crazy! You'd do anything to shut out the noise. Anything. Even if it's removing the cause of the noise, one at a time...

Dr. Schwartz: So, you're saying that you can hear every living thing on the planet? And you're killing to get some peace?

Entrail: No! Actually! I just thought it would sound good for the tape. I mean, there's going to be a few people who will be listening to this in the days to come, thought I would give them SOME entertainment! Hahaha!

Dr. Schwartz: Hiding the truth of your actions and their reason behind false tales and fiction. My colleagues may find that more interesting than the story you told. I think that you're afraid of something...

Entrail:  Deep water. I'm coming clean on that one. I can handle water, but really, I don't like being under water for any period of time.

Dr. Schwartz:  Not exactly what I was meaning…

Entrail: You were implying that I had some sort of deep-seated personal issue? Something that caused me to, as it were, run away from it and do these oh-so-awful things?

Dr. Schwartz: How else would you explain it?

Entrail: Considering this is a MENTAL ASYLUM for robotic lifeforms, I'm very surprised you haven't landed on 'Just Programming'.

Dr. Schwartz: Well, considering what you've personally done in the past few years, I don't think there's anyone on this planet who would program anything to follow such a pattern. And, also given the fact that robotic lifeforms now are now increasingly self aware and don't tend to mix well when it comes to the more… disagreeable aspects of society, we have felt that such action needs to be taken.

Entrail: So you try to cure me? Might want to reschedule your other appointments. I personally don't see myself being in the need for such 'curing'.

Dr. Schwartz: That's for me to decide.

Entrail: And who are you? Some fleshy rabbit doctor bitch who thinks her small flicker of a life will change anything in the grand scheme of things? Your decision is as significant as the time you'll have me restrained in this place. In the end, this world will burn. And your little posturing will be for nothing.

*Loud noises, sound of metal straining, animalistic noises*

Dr. Schwartz: Guard… GUARD! RESTRAIN HIM!  … shit, use the EMP restraints!

*TAPE ENDS*
This has been something I've been playing about this for a while now, in my head.

Played and loved Batman: Arkham Asylum, the veedjya game. I especially liked the number of patient interviews you could find and listen to. Very well done, and gave a lovely insight into a few things regarding certain characters.

SO, I did a little start to a few interviews, if Entrail was committed to a Mobius insane asylum, robotics wing (because, lets face it, there's a fucking lot of robot fan characters out there nowadays, why not have them treated as equal citizens of that planet.)

Plus, Dr. Schwartz is a character I'm working out. Female Rabbit doctor. Might do a drawing of her soon, now I'm getting better at the drawings.
